HOW TO RECEIVE BEYOND WHAT YOU ASK FOR - Bishop David Abioye

Prayer limits what you receive but thanksgiving brings you into the realm of unlimited blessings.
10 lepers came to Christ to pray for healing and He gave them a portion but reserved the remaining for the thankful.
Eph.3:20,21; Lk.17:11-17
Thanksgiving takes the thanksgiver beyond limits.
While prayer may bring one to the peak thanksgiving will take another beyond the peak.
It is thanksgivers that accesses reserves; they are enabled to go from realm of “fraction” to “whole”.

SEEK TRANSFORMATION - Bishop David Abioye

SEEK TRANSFORMATION - Bishop David Abioye

The primary purpose of study is to get self information but the ultimate is to press for transformation.

The whole essence of knowledge is transformation.

If it is not integratable then it is not profitable.

Information that does not culminate in transformation is wasted.

Information is peripheral; it is transformation that take you into depth. Rom.12:1,2.

Don’t look for what to say but for what to show – 1 Tim.4:13,15. In the study always seek for what to encounter and experience.

That is the ultimate purpose of study – to experience change.

If it doesn’t change you, its not worth it. II Cor.3:18

WHERE THE FUTURE BEGINS (PART 1)Bid

Bishop David Abioye

My future began from yesterday.
My success began from pass failure.
My greatness stems in my smallness.
Yesterday is the grand-father of tomorrow.
It is impotency that converts into potency.
Therefore, rejoice not over me my enemies... I shall rise again. Mic.7:8
“Again”, is the language of the hopeful. He converts his failure into experience and experience into hope.
The more failure I have the more hopeful I become because the more experiences i have gained.
My gain is the product of my pains.
To stir up hope for the future:
  • Dream future like Joseph
  • Talk future like God
  • Sing future like Abraham

CAPITALIZE AND CONCENTRATE ON WHAT YOU HAVE, AND NOT ON WHAT YOU DONT HAVE

Chiugo Anthony Josephat-Nwokolo

Many have remained on the floor because they focus on what they don’t have.
Stop capitalising on what you don’t have.
Whatever you don’t have, you actually do not need.
If you needed it, God would have given it to you.
Whatever is absent in your life is not what God will use to lift you.
Whatever you have to strain yourself to get or do is not likely to be what you are designed for.
Concentrate on your gifts!!
Ex.4:10,12,17:2
Moses speech impediment was not healed because God did not need it.
And Moses said...I am not eloquent...But I am slow of speech, and slow tongue.
Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth... (but) thou shall take this rod in thine hand wherewith thou shalt do signs.
And the lord said unto Him, what is that in thine hand? And he said, A Rod.
And He (God) said, cast it on the ground...
It is what God would use that He directed Moses to display.
Display your gift and it will amaze you how God will use it to announce you the way He used the rod to announce Moses.
