John 15: 7 - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

In view of the above scriptural passage, our Lord Jesus Christ advice us to remain in him and that his words should always be in our mind and on our tongue, so that you can ask and receive whatever you desire.

The number 4th factor that hinders prayers is lack of knowledge of the word of God which translates to inability to pray in line with God's word (scripture based prayers).

When you know and have confidence in God's word, you can place a demand on the word, and in so doing you call forth the Spirit of God to create whatever you demand with the same creative power and raw material the Lord God used to create the Heavens and the earth.

Continued from last week, we discussed about unforgiving attitude as one of the things that hinders prayers. Today we shall look at the number 2 thing that hinders prayers, and that thing is sin.  Let's see the scriptures.

"KJV:Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear - Isaiah 59:1-2

In view of the foregoing scriptures we can see that sin is another major thing that hinders prayers and the blessings of the Lord. I don't need to emphasize much on this because everyone knows this truth. But l gonna  share some scriptures to underscore this truth. Before I dive into the Holy Scriptures. Let share my simple definition of sin. Sin is disobedience to God's instructions.

7 Things That Can Hinder Your Prayers!

As led by the Lord I have be writing and teaching How to Provoke Answers to Prayers wherever I have the opportunity. And today am starting a series on the above topic.

There are so many things that hinders our prayers and we need to identify and avoid them if we must live a fulfilling and glorious life here and hereafter.

The number one is Unforgiving Altitude. Its the major reason that have hindered or delayed answers to the prayers of a whole lot of people today.

Now hear what our Lord Jesus Christ says in the book of Mark 11:25; And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Dont let offense, malice and unforgiving attitude deny you the blessings of the Lord and His answers to your prayers.

Today, there children, parents, friends, neighbors, colleagues, church members, pastors that are offended with one another and are keeping malice and enmity amongst themselves, and don't talk to each other.

Friends, whether you are the one right or wrong. Just forgive and forget for Christ sake, so that your heavenly Father shall also forgive.

KJV:And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil - Luke 11:4

This is the major ground the devil is capitalizing to hinder the prayers of a lot of people today, especially the believers. This attidude is very common and often neglected amongst Christians and even in churches and among ministers of the gospel. It can also hinder one from making Heaven if the person does not reconcile.

No wonders we are admonished in Hebrews 12:14; Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

Action point: Call any of your brother, sister, friend, relation, parent, colleagues etc that have offended you or you have offended and reconcile before its too late.

My Divine Encounter With Lord God on August 9th, 2016 and His Word to Me – Tony Nwokolo

Hey the Lord is good and always thinks, plans and does good for His children all the time.

I want to share with as many that will key in and tap from this divine encounter, anointing and word I received from the Lord in the early hours of Tuesday 9th August, 2016.

Early in the morning on the above mentioned date, I had a dream and in that vision the Lord sent one of His messengers with a word of revelation and encouragement to me, which i believe He wants me to share with as many that will believe. The person the Lord sent to me told me in that dream like trance the word the Lord had for me, and also gave me this word from God in the book of 1 kings 5: 4-5. And in that dream I asked the messenger to confirm the Bible quotation and I held unto it and immediately I woke up from the sleep and open my Bible to the check the word and, lo and behold, this is the word the Lord God sent His messenger to me;
"But now the Lord my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name Kings" 5:4-5.

Friends, until yesterday morning I don't know that aforementioned chapter and verse of the Bible passage above but the Lord sent that word for me and you. And that is why am sharing this with you and by the reason of the grace and anointing of the Lord upon my life; I prophesy in the name above other names that, from this day the Lord has granted you and i rest on every side and there shall be neither adversary nor evil occurent and the Lord shall use you and I to proclaim His word and establish God's kingdom here on earth, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ i declare, Amen! If you believe this say and type Amen! And claim it with faith.

Friends, there is God in Heaven that hears and answer prayers and blesses His children. He hears me wheneverI call and will hear you also.

KEY TO REST

The key to rest in life is rest in the Word.

Rest of mind proceeds from rest in the Word.

So, to access absolute rest in life, rest absolutely on the Word of God.

God’s Word is tested and proven, those who rest upon it cannot be shaken.

Men are troubled because they haven’t found the Word to rest upon.

Rest upon the Word to find rest in the world.

“…And the people rested upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.”
