Hi friends, i salute you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
These day a lot of folks are losing faith in God because of unanswered prayers. Some have even concluded that there is no God or that prayers don't work. Many people have been praying for one thing or the other for many years or months and there has been no answer or solution. Hence, to them God doesn't care for them, He is partial or that He doesn't exist at all.
By the grace of God the Spirit of the Lord has enlightened me on this issue and in my book my latest book (10 Commandments of God for Success & Fulfillment) and in one of the topics I shared the deep things the good Lord revealed to me on the subject of prayers.
Today, I want discuss briefly how to provoke divine answers to your prayers.
One of the major reasons why a lot of prayers are not answered is Lack of Faith. Some people after praying they still doubt if God can really grant their petition. Now, hear Jesus Christ position on that;
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith - Mark 11:22-23.
Friends, if you have faith in God, you shall command your mountain (meaning problems, challenges, situation, sickness etc) to be removed and cast into the sea and if you do not doubt in our hearts, Jesus said we shall whatsoever we speak, seek and declare.
The problem with a lot of us is unbelief, fear and doubt. This reminds me the story about a man that had an important appointment to attend and he prayed fervently that it shall not rain that day and after praying.
When he was about to leave the house for his appointment, he observed the cloud began to get darker and there was sign that it might rain that day. In view of the atmosphere he decided to pick up his umbrella in case it rains. And by so doing he have manifested that he does not have faith in God. Had he stood his ground that i shall not rain that day despite the obvious signs, it would have not rained that day according to his prayers and faith. It is written the just shall live by faith and not by sight. The problem is that a lot of us today is we have resorted to living by sight and the signs instead of faith. Remember, Jesus said, be it unto you according to your faith.
By the way, What do you think, is it wrong, right or wise for the man to go out that day with an umbrella after praying that it should not rain, whereas there are signs that it might rain that day? What is is your position on this? No man is an island of knowledge. We learn from each other. Please do share your opinion and comment on this topic. God bless you!
To be continued after receiving your comments.
