There
are two kingdoms; the kingdom of light and the kingdom of the world.
And each kingdom is governed by different laws. For instance in the
kingdom of light (the kingdom God) God's word tells us the principle or
call it the law of prosperity; to prosper and increase you need to give
and sow (scatter), but in the kingdom of the world we are told that if
you want to increase and prosper financially or materially you ought to
save and hoard whatever you have got.
These laws are
opposite to each other. Now, the question is which kingdom's law or
principles do you want to adhere? Whose report would you believe? For me
and my household we believes and practices the laws of the kingdom of
God.
I have to come to realize that whatever you share
multiples and whatever you hoard and withholds diminishes. When tou
withhold and hoard whatever you have you allow fear of not having enough
and scarcity mentality to dominate you, but when you give and share
whatever you have, you manifest faith and abundance mentality to
prevail. And it attracts abundance and supernatural provisions.
That's
why its written; There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and
there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty -
Prov. 11:24.
The foregoing is the root cause of
poverty. The principle of sowing in the kingdom of God, giving and
sharing with others whatever we have is further validated by our Lord
Jesus Christ in the book of John 12: 24 - 25; KJV:Verily, verily, I say
unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it
abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that
loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world
shall keep it unto life eternal KJV.
Also, see Luke
6:38; KJV:Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed
down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your
bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be
measured to you again.
Finally brethren, let us express
our love for maker by giving, let us give and share whatever we have
with faith in God as our source and sustainer.
To
prosper financially, you ve got to express your love and faith in God as
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon etc by sowing seeds, paying your
tithe and offerings to God through the ministry where you are fed
spiritually, as well as sharing even the little or the much you have
with those in need with love. Remember, love is the greatest of all
commands of God; Love the Lord God with all your heart, mind and soul
and love your neighbour as you love your self - Matt 22:37. Refuse to
believe or be afraid by the negative news you hear about the economy, as
believers we are in this world but not of this world and when others
are saying this is casting down we should declaring there is lifting up.
You can live the kingdom life here on earth, the God kind of life; that
lives in dominion of all situations and in abundance and in the
miraculous provisions and protections.
Today,
materialism has become the god and love of many, to the extent that
many loves money and materials things more that God, their brothers,
sisters and neighbours. Everyone wants to save and hoard because of fear
of poverty, scarcity and the recession, but God's word tells me that
the Just shall live by faith and not by sight.
Don't let what you hear, see or feel deceive you or becloud your mind and trust in God and in His promises.
Let
me close by reminding us how our Lord Jesus Christ fed 500 with five
fishes and two loaves of bread and yet everyone was filled and satisfied
and the remainder was 12 baskets. How come? First, He gave thanks to
God, second, He shared the little with faith and it multipled and there
was abundance. As you share whatever God has blessed you with others in
faith it shall be multiplied to abundance in Jesus Christ's name I
declare, Amen!
