How to Hear the Voice and the Leading of the Holy Spirit (Part 2)

 Hi brethren, peace be unto you! 

This shall be our week of breaking new grounds and breaking forth on every side in Jesus name! Yesterday i started the series on; How to Hear the Voice and the Leading of the Holy Spirit. And shared that inward witness is one of the ways the Spirit of God speaks, guides and leads us. The second way is; Inward Voice or call it the Still Small Voice. Do you know your inward man (your Spirit man) has a voice the way your outward man (physical man) has a voice. Your spirit man is called the conscience. That is the voice that speaks and rebukes you whenever you want to do any thing that is not good.

Prophet Elijah was instructed to stand upon the mountain to watch and see when the Lord shall visit him, and while he was waiting, the strong and violent wind, an earthquake and fire came to pass but the Lord did not manifest through neither of those, but through the Still Small Voice. I call it the SSV of God.

"And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice" - 1 Kings 19: 11-12

From the foregoing Bible passages we can see that the Lord manifests and speaks to us via the SSV. One of the reasons why a lot of us don't hear the voice of the Lord is because we are always busy and in a noisy environment. God might been speaking but you cant hear Him in such environment. You need to separate your self from the crowd to worship, wait and watch to hear the SSV of God. 

I do hear and receive instructions, inspirations and revelation from God whenever I separate myself from the crowd and resort to a quiet place to worship, wait, watch and hear from God.
In fact, I came to realize that God can go to any length to get the attention of whom ever He wants to use. He will get the person into a separate and quite place if He want to speak or reveal some things to the person. This happened to me recently.

For instance, when God wants to talk to Moses He made him to run away from the noisy and crowded environment in order to get his attention.
Friends, without the guidance and instructions from the Lord in this life, life becomes a burden, confusion and meaningless.

May you avail and separate your self and wait to hear from the Lord in any situations in Jesus name!
